ROCK PAINTING:
 Here i am going to give you all the information you need on painting sealing & hiding your rocks !


  •  First you need some rocks, the size of a painted rock generally look like this:
 you can also take bigger or smaller size of rocks.

 You can get these stones from the river sides or if you want then you can also get it online.

  • After the collection of rocks the next step will be cleaning them properly.You can soak them in hot water for a few minutes, then scrub away all the dirt with a toothbrush and make sure to complete this step outside in order to avoid clogging your drain.


  • After cleaning properly pet with a towel & let air dry completely before before painting you can also use a dryer t dry the stones.
  • Next is paint and paint brush.The best paint for rocks paint is acrylic paint. It coats extremely well.
now you can choose paint of your choice for painting, you also will be needing a variety of brushes as per the project, so make sure to get a variety of brushes. Specially small, medium & large.
  • We will mainly be using a fine tip paint brush when it comes to rocks.                                                      Exploring with other brush size will allow you to create different style of arts.


  • After painting the stone how to paint glue on the rocks after painting.                                  
  •  After your paint is finishing drying brush a bit of mod podge on rock, use it as a glue or add a layer of mod podge into your painting & let stand for abut 10 minutes to dry. After drying it will give a glossy finish.                                                                                                             not only is it water proof but it is weather proof & it will brighten the color of your rocks will last longer.




                 


using gloss  will help the handwork you put into painting your rock will last longer.

  •      To seal your rocks lay it face down on newspaper & spray a layer of clear gloss on the back hold the can about 12 inches away from the rock so that it doesn't get too wet or drip let it dry completely for at least one hour to avoid being sticky & flip it over & repeat on front side. 
  • Be care full if you rush this step you'll end up sucking your rock to the newspaper permanently,so make sure its dry completely. 
  • If you want you can keep it outside for few hours after spraying them, this way we can seal multiple rocks at once.
  • In few hours your rocks will be ready to hide.
